18 Feb Portfolio transaction: Nox Capital Group sells large portfolio of existing properties in Berlin
Buyer is an international investment manager
BERLIN, 17.02.2021: The Berlin-based residential real estate expert Nox Capital can report three successes within a very short period of time: Shortly before the turn of the year, Nox sold a portfolio of existing properties to an international investment manager for institutional real estate investments. The transaction volume amounted to more than EUR 40 million.
Only a few weeks earlier, Nox Capital received the license from the Luxembourg CSSF and the German BaFin for the first and the second real estate fund, which will be launched in the course of 2021, and can thus expand its range of services to include the sub-segment of institutional fund management. The funds invite institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies, banks and semi-professional investors such as family offices to acquire conservative residential properties together with Nox Capital, to realize potential through efficient asset management and to generate stable long-term income.
Christopher P. Koch, Managing Director of Nox Capital Fund Management & Advisory GmbH is very pleased with the transaction: “We are delighted that we were able to realize such a successful deal shortly before the end of 2020 by selling a large portfolio of existing properties to a European investment manager. Nox Capital has once again proven its ability to increase the income and value of residential properties with a low risk profile in a short period of time through efficient asset management processes and measures. Over the years, we have developed what we consider to be an outstanding formula with USPs for efficient portfolio property development. In parallel, we are already working on exciting new investments that ideally cater to the needs of investors who need to generate solid returns and income even in difficult times.”
Berlin-based Nox Capital Group is an internationally active specialist for residential real estate that also advises the NOX CORE RE FUND and the UP2 NOX GERMAN RE FUND. In addition to institutional fund management, the company covers the entire management chain and offers its clients excellent market access as well as state-of-the-art portfolio optimization. NOX CAPITAL has already carried out more than 2,000 transactions across all asset classes in Germany, and its own portfolio amounts to more than EUR 1.4 billion.
